Meet the Founder — Ifeanyi Ekwueme
Hello! My name is Ifeanyi Ekwueme, and I’m the founder of Hoodtrends Predict.
I’m a Nigerian football enthusiast, sports content creator, and graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), where I earned my BSc in Accounting in 2018.
I grew up in Abuja, Nigeria, and I’m currently based in Enugu, Nigeria.
Although my academic background is in Accounting, I’ve always had a strong interest in football, entertainment, and creating content that people enjoy.
My journey into football predictions began because I genuinely loved analyzing matches, studying teams, and sharing my thoughts about possible results.
What started as a personal interest eventually became a growing football community and the platform you know today as Hoodtrends Predict.
The Story Behind the Hoodtrends Name
Interestingly, Hoodtrends didn’t begin as a football prediction brand.
Before starting Hoodtrends Predict, I created an entertainment website called HoodTrends.com.
The website focused on entertainment news, music, celebrity stories, trending topics, and other entertainment-related content.
That was where the name Hoodtrends originally came from.
As time went on, I developed a stronger passion for football predictions. I enjoyed watching matches, studying teams, and predicting possible outcomes.
After experiencing some successful predictions, I became more interested in football analysis and wanted to share my selections with a wider audience.
When I decided to start creating football prediction content, I adopted the Hoodtrends name from my entertainment website and added Predicts.
That was how Hoodtrends Predicts was born.
How Hoodtrends Predict Started
My football prediction journey officially began on YouTube in 2022.
I started sharing football tips and match predictions under the Hoodtrends Predicts name.
At the beginning, I was simply doing something I enjoyed. I loved analyzing football matches and sharing my opinions with other football fans.
As I continued posting predictions, more people began following my content and engaging with my selections.
That encouraged me to keep learning, improving, and taking football analysis more seriously.
I later created a Telegram channel to share predictions and communicate more directly with the people following my content.
In 2023, I registered HoodtrendsPredict.com to establish a dedicated website where football enthusiasts could access match predictions, statistics, and analysis.
Over time, Hoodtrends has continued to grow across different platforms, including those using the names Hoodtrends Predicts and Hoodtrends Analysis.
Looking back, it’s amazing to see how a name that started with an entertainment website became part of my football prediction journey.
And for me, the journey is still ongoing.
